Getting Started with Cold Wax Medium Class is LIVE!

Woo-hoo!  It's been a busy summer, what, with moving out of my 650 sq ft studio in June that I occupied for 6 years (very grateful for that time :-), attending the Atlanta Gift show for the umpteenth time in my life in early July, and a lovely week at a lake in upstate NY in late July....AND, filming & editing my very first Skillshare Class, "Getting Started with Cold Wax Medium"!

I am beyond excited to share this class with you!  Watch the introduction here:

Discover this exciting, versatile medium and explore the many ways you can incorporate it into your own process.

This introductory class – first in a series – introduces the basics of working with cold wax medium and oil paint, and is a great foundation to build upon to move on to more advanced techniques.

In this class we will cover:

• What Is Cold Wax?

• Substrates & Supports

• Basic Tools & Supplies

• Mixing Cold Wax with Oil Paint

• Applying the Mixture to Substrates

The pieces you start in your class project won't be works of art, but they will be the perfect foundation for moving on to upcoming classes where we'll cover MANY more tools, materials & techniques for working with medium in various stages of drying.
